Role Description:

Optimum Patient Care (OPC) are at the forefront of providing innovative health solutions and leading-edge technologies which directly improve patient health.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience within an internationally recognised research organisation, working closely with GP practices to develop specialist solutions which assist respiratory patient management in primary care.

We welcome applicants with commercial experience in Microsoft C#, Asp.net and Microsoft SQL Server TSQL with the motivation to develop their programming skills to mobile device development within the .NET environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Translate application storyboards/specifications and use cases into functional applications
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

 

Key Competencies:

  • Proficient in C# and ASP.NET with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Skill for writing reusable C# libraries and clean, readable C# code
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {{such as TFS}}
  • Ability to communicate technical information across the wider company network

 

Applicant Requirements:

  • 3 – 4 years of commercial experience in c#/ASP.NET under MS Windows
  • Computing qualification, HND or degree level or current Microsoft accreditation
  • Previous experience in Health Care domain is be desirable

 

Salary will be dependant on experience

Part-time and full-time roles are considered.

Immediate start is available.
